Bowtie Paint Empty Bowtie Paint

on Mon Aug 21, 2017 5:03 pm
Looking for recommendations for someone to paint my bowties.  Black ones for sale don't work for me.  First mod ever so I don't know where to start.  Thanks!

After seeing the price for new ones, I decided to paint mine, they turned out pretty good. Do you want them black or another color?

Trying to decide between body color (grey) and accent color (orange). The shop my dealership recommended just quoted $350 which I think is pretty high.

Yeah, that's kind of pricey when you can do it yourself for about $10 with a little bit of time and patience.
Are you going on the Saturday run to Prescott? If so you could see how mine turned out and get an idea if you wanted to do your own the same way.

You can check mine out too on Saturday. Went to Sherwin Williams Automotive finishes, got a can of rock red and a can of clear coat, taped off the bow tie and painted it my self. $25

Here you go Sara! I still think the orange will be the best color for you, it will POP! Start with looking at Dragon Slayers coloring first, then go darker from there but I think his color code will be spot on.
